AI-Generated Content & Data Usage
How We Use AI
iTeachWise uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content, analyze learning patterns, and provide personalized recommendations. Our AI systems:
- Generate lesson plans, slide decks, lesson series, and worksheets (8 types) based on your inputs
- Transform source materials (PDFs, URLs, pasted text) into structured lessons
- Create IEP/504/ELL differentiation with compliance documentation, accommodations lists, and assessment modifications
- Produce multi-level differentiation and gifted/advanced extensions for inclusive classrooms
- Analyze behavioral patterns to provide personalized learning recommendations
- Process language for translation and accessibility features
- Provide real-time feedback and adaptive learning paths
Content Watermarking
All AI-generated content created through our platform includes invisible digital watermarks and tracking signatures. These watermarks:
- Help us track unauthorized redistribution of generated content
- Protect our proprietary AI algorithms and outputs
- Enable content verification and authenticity checks
- Do not affect the usability of content for legitimate educational purposes
AI Training Data
iTeachWise LLC does not train its own AI models on customer content and does not authorize its AI providers to train on API inputs or outputs. Under our current providers' standard API terms, they do not train on API content without explicit permission. Standard direct-provider API terms generally permit retention of inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring; gateway, feature-specific, legal, and safety retention may differ.
Children's Privacy
iTeachWise is for parents and teachers, not children. A parent or teacher acting on a child's behalf may enter the child's first name or another profile label, grade level, and optional notes. iTeachWise stores this information and associates generated learning content with the named child to help the adult organize lesson materials and maintain instructional records. iTeachWise does not collect information directly from children, and no accounts are created for children.
COPPA addresses online collection of personal information from children under 13. FERPA addresses the privacy of student education records. iTeachWise does not claim COPPA or FERPA compliance or certification. Parents and teachers should only provide child information they are authorized to share and must follow applicable school policies and privacy requirements.
If you believe child information was provided without appropriate authority, or want to request its removal, contact support@iteachwise.com. See the retention and deletion sections of this policy for how deletion requests and any necessary record retention are handled.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make.
For significant changes that materially alter your privacy rights, we will provide prominent notice through:
